Voiceflex Open for Business
Paul Taylor, Sales Director at Voiceflex says his
company is fully approved for SIP Trunking on the
Siemens HiPath OpenOffice ME Unified Communications
platform.
“That’s a full house because Voiceflex is now fully
approved on all Siemens SIP supported systems. HiPath
OpenOffice ME is a little different it’s the first
telephony application we have seen from a major
manufacturer that’s built end to end on SIP standards.
More importantly from a Voiceflex prospective SIP Trunks
come included within the main system, free if you like;
providing a considerable saving for the end user or more
profit for the reseller. There is a cost to install an
ISDN 30 card which of course is hardware.”
Taylor says that based on a green field site the total
cost to install 30 channels of ISDN including hardware
is £3216.00. The total cost to install 30 SIP trunks is
£0.00
“The ongoing end user rental costs are £1216.00 per
quarter for ISDN30 plus DDI rental charge. SIP Trunks x
30 per quarter are £540 including DDI rental charge
representing a saving of 56%. When using SIP Trunks you
can also port the customer’s number/s.“
